Kerala: కేరళ స్థానిక సంస్థల ఎన్నికల్లో బీజేపీ గట్టి ప్రభావం చూపింది. తిరువనంతపురం కార్పొరేషన్లో BJP అధికారాన్ని స్వాధీనం చేసుకుంది. పలు చోట్ల మంచి విజయాలు సాధించింది.
BJP captures power in Thiruvananthapuram Corporatio: కేరళలోని స్థానిక సంస్థల ఎన్నికల ఫలితాలు బీజేపీకి ఉత్సాహాన్నిచ్చాయి. తిరువనంతపురం కార్పొరేషన్లో BJP నేతృత్వంలోని NDA అధికారాన్ని స్వాధీనం చేసుకుంది. 101 వార్డుల కార్పొరేషన్లో 50 వార్డులు గెలుచుకున్న NDA, నాలుగు దశాబ్దాలకు పైగా కొనసాగిన LDF పాలనకు చెక్ పెట్టింది. LDF 29 వార్డులకు మాత్రమే పరిమితమైంది, UDF 19 వార్డులు సాధించింది. ఈ ఫలితాలు రాజకీయ వర్గాల్లో సంచలనం రేపాయి, ముఖ్యంగా BJPకు ఇది ఒక మైలురాయిగా నిలిచింది.
ఎన్నికల ఫలితాలు ప్రకటనకు ముందు లెక్కింపు ప్రక్రియలో LDF , NDA మధ్య పోటీ జరిగింది. మొదట్లో హంగ్ అవకాశం కనిపించినప్పటికీ, లెక్కింపు ముందుకు సాగిన కొద్దీ NDA కార్పొరేటర్ అభ్యర్థులు ముందంజలోకి వెళ్లారు. తిరువనంతపురం కార్పొరేషన్ కేరళలో అత్యంత ముఖ్యమైన స్థానిక సంస్థగా పరిగణిస్తారు. LDF నాలుగు దశాబ్దాల నుంచి అధికారంలో ఉంది. 2015లో BJPకు 6 వార్డులు మాత్రమే వచ్చాయి, 2020లో కూడా అన్నే సీట్లు వచ్చాయి. కానీ 2025లో 50 వార్డులు గెలవడం ఒక పెద్ద మలుపు. UDF 2015లో 21, 2020లో 10 వార్డులకు పరిమితమైంది, ఇప్పుడు 19కు చేరుకుంది. LDF మునుపటి ఎన్నికల్లో 51 వార్డులు గెలిచినప్పటికీ, ఇప్పుడు 29కు తగ్గింది.

LDF నాలుగు మున్సిపాలిటీలు , జిల్లా పంచాయతీలను కాపాడుకుంది. కానీ కార్పొరేషన్లో ఓటమి, పట్టణ ప్రాంతాల్లో ఓటు ఎరోషన్ 2026 అసెంబ్లీ ఎన్నికల ముందు LDFకు ఆందోళన కలిగించేవే. ప్రధాని మోదీ కూడా ఈ జయంపై స్పందించారు.
