British nationals In Ahmedabad Plance: భారతదేశంలోని అహ్మదాబాద్ నగరంలో కూలిపోయిన దృశ్యాలు హృదయవిదారకంగా ఉన్నాయని బ్రిటన్ ప్రధాని దిగ్భ్రాంతి వ్యక్తం చేశారు. లండన్‌ వస్తున్న విమానంలో చాలా మంది బ్రిటన్ జాతీయులు ఉన్నారని స్టార్మర్ తెలిపారు.  బాధాకర సమయంలో నా ఆలోచనలు ప్రయాణీకులు, వారి కుటుంబాలతో ఉన్నాయన్నారు.

అహ్మదాబాద్‌లో 2025 జూన్ 12న జరిగిన ఎయిర్ ఇండియా ఫ్లైట్ AI171 విమాన ప్రమాదంలో పలువురు  విదేశీయుల ఉన్నారు. వారిలో ఎక్కువగా బ్రిటన్ జాతీయులు ఉన్నారు.  విమానంలో మొత్తం 242 మంది ప్రయాణీకులు , విమాన సిబ్బంది ఉన్నారు. వీరిలో 169 మంది భారతీయులు. 53 మంది బ్రిటిష్ పౌరులు, 7 మంది పోర్చుగీస్ పౌరులు,  1 కెనడియన్ పౌరుడు ఉన్నట్లు ఎయిర్ ఇండియా ధృవీకరించింది.

మొత్తం విదేశీ ప్రయాణీకుల్లో 53 మంది బ్రిటిష్ పౌరులు ఉన్నారు. విమానంలో ఒక్కరు కూడా బయటపడే అవకాశాలు లేవని భావిస్తున్నారు.  అందరూ చనిపోయారని  పోలీసు వర్గాలు తెలిపాయి. అంటే బ్రిటన్ పౌరులు కూడా అంతా చనిపోయారు.  రెస్క్యూ బృందాలు మృతేదేహాలను సేకరించి సమీప ఆస్పత్రికి తరలిస్తున్నారు. ఈ మృతదేహాలను గుర్తు పట్టడం కూడా కష్టంగా మారింది.  ఒక బ్రిటిష్ ప్రయాణీకుడు, జామీ రే మీక్, బోర్డింగ్‌కు ముందు ఇన్‌స్టాగ్రామ్‌లో వీడియో పోస్ట్ చేశాడు. అతను ఈ ప్రమాదంలో మరణించాడు. 

యూకే విదేశాంగ కార్యాలయం (FCDO) ఢిల్లీ ,  లండన్‌లో క్రైసిస్ టీమ్‌లను ఏర్పాటు చేసి, బ్రిటిష్ పౌరులకు సహాయం అందిస్తోంది.
