CDS Anil Chauhan fighter jets : భారత్, పాకిస్తాన్ మధ్య ఏర్పడిన ఉద్రిక్త పరిస్థితులు పరస్పర దాడుల్లో భారత్ ఫైటర్ జెట్లను కోల్పోయిందని ఎన్ని జెట్లను కోల్పోయిందో చెప్పాలని కాంగ్రెస్ పార్టీ నేతలు డిమాండ్ చేస్తున్నారు. ఇప్పుడు ఈ అంశంపై చీఫ్ ఆఫ్ డిఫెన్స్ స్టాఫ్ (CDS) జనరల్ అనిల్ చౌహాన్ కీలక వ్యాఖ్యలు చేశారు. భారత వైమానిక దళం (IAF) 2025 మేలో పాకిస్తాన్తో జరిగిన నాలుగు రోజుల ఆపరేషన్ సిందూర్ సంఘర్షణలో కొన్ని ఫైటర్ జెట్లను కోల్పోయినట్లు మొదటిసారిగా ధృవీకరించారు. సింగపూర్లో జరిగిన షాంగ్రీ-లా డైలాగ్ సందర్భంగా బ్లూమ్బెర్గ్ టీవీతో జరిగిన ఇంటర్వ్యూలో ఆయన ఈ వ్యాఖ్యలు చేశారు. ఈ వ్యాఖ్యలు ఇప్పుడు కలకలం రేపుతున్నాయి.

పాకిస్తాన్తో జరిగిన ఆపరేషన్ సిందూర్ లో కొన్ని ఫైటర్ జెట్లను కోల్పోయినట్లు ఒప్పుకున్నారు, కానీ ఖచ్చితమైన సంఖ్యను వెల్లడించలేదు. ఇంటర్యూలో “ముఖ్యమైన విషయం జెట్లు కూలిపోవడం కాదు, అవి ఎందుకు కూలిపోయాయి ... ఏ తప్పిదాలు జరిగాయి అనేది ముఖ్యం. సంఖ్యలు ముఖ్యం కాదు” అని అనిల్ చౌహాన్ ప్రకటించారు.

పాకిస్తాన్ ప్రధానమంత్రి షెహబాజ్ షరీఫ్, మే 7న జరిగిన సంఘర్షణలో ఆరు భారత ఫైటర్ జెట్లు, అందులో నాలుగు రాఫెల్ జెట్లను కూల్చినట్లు ప్రకటించుకున్నారు. ఈ వాదనను చౌహాన్ ఫేక్ అని ఖండించారు.

జెట్లు కూలిపోవడానికి వ్యూహాత్మక తప్పిదాలే కారణమని, భారత వైమానిక దళం ఈ తప్పిదాలను గుర్తించి, రెండు రోజుల్లో సవరించుకుని మళ్లీ దీర్ఘ-దూర లక్ష్యాలపై దాడులు చేసినట్లు తెలిపారు.
