Dehradun : ఉత్తరాఖండ్లో వరదల పరిస్థితి అత్యంత తీవ్రంగా ఉంది. వరదల దృశ్యాలు భయానకంగా ఉన్నాయి.
Flood situation in Dehradun is serious : ఉత్తరాఖండ్లోని డెహ్రాడూన్లో సెప్టెంబర్ 15 రాత్రి మొదలైన భారీ వర్షాలు, క్లౌడ్బరస్టుల వల్ల వరదలు సంభవించాయి. సహస్రధారా, తపోవన్ ప్రాంతాల్లో తీవ్ర నష్టం ఏర్పడింది. ఈ వర్షాల వల్ల రోడ్లు, ఇళ్లు, మునిగిపోయాయి. పది మందికిపైగా మరణిచినట్లుగా చెబుతున్నారు. ఎన్డీఆర్ఎఫ్, ఎస్డీఆర్ఎఫ్ బృందాలు రెస్క్యూ ఆపరేషన్లు చేపట్టాయి, 200 మంది విద్యార్థులు, 70 మంది పౌరులను రక్షించాయి.

సహస్రధారా ప్రాంతంలో ఇళ్లు, షాపులు, హోటళ్లు మునిగిపోయాయి. ఐటీ పార్క్, కార్లు, బైకులు నీటిలో ధ్వంసమయ్యాయి. డెహ్రాడూన్-హరిద్వార్ హైవేలో ఒక పుల్ కూలిపోవడంతో రోడ్డు ట్రాఫిక్ పూర్తిగా ఆగిపోయింది. తప్కేశ్వర్ మహాదేవ్ ఆలయం నీటధారల్లో మునిగిపోయింది. రుషికేష్లో చంద్రభాగా నది హైవే వరకు చేరుకుంది.

సహస్రధారా, తపోవన్, కార్లిగాడ్, వికాస్నగర్ ప్రధానంగా ప్రభావితమయ్యాయి. బిందాల్ నది, టోన్స్ నది వరదలు పెరిగాయి. డెహ్రాడూన్లో రెండు నెలల్లో రెండో క్లౌడ్బర్స్ట్. వాతావరణ మార్పులు, భారీ వర్షాలు కారణమని నిపుణులు చెబుతున్నారు.
