Fire On Uber:
The practice of 'Advance Tip' is deeply concerning. Forcing or nudging users to pay a tip in advance, for faster service is unethical and exploitative. Such actions fall under unfair trade practices. Tip is given as a token of appreciation not as a matter of right, after the… pic.twitter.com/WaPH26oT9G

Thanks for taking this up!

This has become a new revenue model for ride aggregators. In fact, in many cases, drivers don’t accept rides without a tip. More importantly, tips reveal users’ locations—which are otherwise private—posing a potential safety risk and possibly leading to… https://t.co/VOPXxpuV99
Riders paid $524. I got $198. Uber took the rest through fees, “commercial insurance,” & promos. That’s 62% gone while I did all the work. Even with tips, I only made $226. This is why so many drivers feel played. The system needs real transparency & fairness. pic.twitter.com/aOgEk6UC1C
