కరీంనగర్ జిల్లా చొప్పదండి నియోజకవర్గం ఎమ్మెల్యే మేడిపల్లి సత్యం భార్య రూపాదేవి గురువారం రాత్రి ఆత్మహత్య చేసుకున్నారు. దీంతో మేడిపల్లి సత్యం కుటుంబాన్ని ముఖ్యమంత్రి రేవంత్ రెడ్డి పరామర్శించారు. కొంపల్లిలో ఉన్న మేడిపల్లి సత్యం నివాసానికి ఆయన వెళ్లారు. రూపాదేవి చిత్రపటానికి పూలమాల వేసి నివాళులు అర్పించారు. సత్యానికి ధైర్యం చెప్పడంతో పాటు పిల్లలను కుటుంబ సభ్యులను కూడా ఓదార్చారు.
